Horsemanship Training Part 1: BEGINNING HORSEMANSHIP

After attending Orientation*, we ask that all new volunteers attend at least two trainings with us at the ranch. Each training last approximately 2-3 hours and will be hands on experience with our horses.  Part 1: HORSEMANSHIP TRAINING - Grooming, Haltering, & Tacking (3 hours) This training is required for all new volunteers. Please attend orientation prior to any trainings. Part 2: THERAPEUTIC LESSON TRAINING - Grooming/Tacking for a lesson, Leading a horse in a lesson, Sidewalking in a lesson (3 hours) Part 1 is a prerequisite for this training and must be completed prior to this training.
