Horsemanship Training Part 3: HORSE CARE

is available for all new and continuing volunteers to hone skills related to supporting with horse care. We ask that new volunteers attend Part 1 of Horsemanship Training and Orientation prior to attending Part 3. Topics covered will include:Part 3 Horsemanship Training: HORSE CARE TRAINING

• Safely walking/leading a horse

• Turning out a horse safely in a corral

• How to log information on horse care chart

• Specific facts related to horses in program to better understand individual needs

After attending Orientation, we ask that all new volunteers attend  with us at the ranch. Each training last approximately 3 hours and will be hands on experience with our horses.Part 1 and 2 trainings
