Horsemanship Training Part 2: THERAPEUTIC LESSON SUPPORT (1)

is available for all new and continuing volunteers new and interested in developing skills related to supporting in therapeutic riding lessons. We ask that you attend Part 1 of Horsemanship Training and Orientation prior to attending Part 2. Topics covered will include:Part 2 Horsemanship Training: THERAPEUTIC LESSON SUPPORT

• Preparing a horse for a lesson (grooming, tacking)

• Entering the mounting block area in the arena

• Sidewalking during a lesson

• Horse leading during a lesson

After attending Orientation, we ask that all new volunteers attend  with us at the ranch. Each training last approximately 3 hours and will be hands on experience with our horses.Part 1 and 2 trainings
